This classic short-sleeved work shirt was produced as part of a project to make a realistic work shirt, and is now available in a new fabric.
The fabric used is an indigo check fabric made from 100% cotton yarn.
It is a beautifully colored checked fabric that is firm and stiff.
The buttons are original metal buttons with a rusted finish for a vintage look.
Nowadays, there are many work items on the market that feature rare details that catch people's attention, so we have designed a short-sleeved shirt with a classic design from a real work perspective.
However, it may be surprising, but original (vintage) short-sleeved chambray shirts are rare.
In most cases, buyers at the time (or later) cut off the long sleeves.
There were many workwear brands in the 40s and 50s, but only a handful produced short-sleeved chambray.
Therefore, while the design is rather conventional, from the perspective of vintage clothing, it is a highly valued and appreciated item.
This time, we have created an original short-sleeved chambray shirt in an orthodox style, incorporating specifications that are reminiscent of simple and sturdy workwear.
The collar is double stitched, the body is triple stitched, both sides of the body have gussets, and a union ticket is sewn to the bottom of the left front body hem.
There are practical flap pockets on both chests.
This is workwear with a realistic perspective, deliberately refraining from special details such as asymmetrical gacha pockets and mountain pockets.
The length is short so that you can still wear it with a neat silhouette while still having some room around the armpits.
It has a simple design while still incorporating the basics of work items, so it is perfect for those looking for a work style, but can also be enjoyed regardless of work style.
