Our standard short-sleeve work shirt, born from the idea of creating a realistic work shirt, is now available with a new fabric.
The fabric used is an indigo check fabric made from 100% cotton yarn-dyed threads.
It's a beautiful check fabric with a firm texture and rich color.
The buttons are original metal buttons with a rust treatment for a vintage-like finish.

Given the current market, where many workwear items with rare details designed to attract attention are available, we decided to design a short-sleeve shirt with a classic design from a realistic workwear perspective.
However, it might be surprising, but original (vintage) short-sleeve chambray shirts are rarely seen.
Most of them were long-sleeve shirts whose sleeves were cut by the buyer at the time (or later years).
While many workwear brands existed in the 1940s and 50s, only a handful produced short-sleeve chambray shirts.
Therefore, despite being an orthodox design, from a vintage clothing perspective, it is a highly valued and appreciated item.

This time, we have put together such an original short-sleeve chambray shirt in an orthodox way, incorporating specifications typical of robust workwear.
The collar has double stitching, the body seams are triple-stitched, both sides of the body have gussets, and a union ticket is sewn on the inside of the left front hem.
Both chest pockets are practical flap pockets.
This is a realistic workwear item that intentionally refrains from special details such as asymmetrical "gacha-pockets" or "yama-pockets."

The length is kept short so that it can be worn with a neat silhouette while allowing room around the armholes.
While incorporating the basic elements of workwear, its simple specifications make it enjoyable not only for those who seek a work style but also for those who want to enjoy it without being confined to workwear.
It is a versatile item that can be worn with denim, easy pants, work pants, shorts, and other seasonal styles.
