JELADO S/S Westcoast Shirt Sashiko [SG82119]

We have released the Westcoast Shirts, which are based on the open-collar shirts from the 50s, in a different material.
This time I used cotton linen sashiko fabric.
Sashiko is one of Japan's traditional techniques and its history is said to date back about 500 years.
We use a dobby loom to express the texture of this fabric.
Because it contains hemp, it is breathable and refreshing.
It has an open collar design, which is a characteristic of the 50s, but it is made from cotton linen instead of rayon, so it can be washed vigorously and you can enjoy the changes that occur over time.
This is a piece that can be worn casually even by those who are not comfortable with flashy patterns such as aloha shirts.
