JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Full Aniline Finish Cherry Brown [SG63419]

Manufactured based on the "WINDWARD" double rider's jacket, a Montgomery Ward brand from the 1950s.
The design is based on the "Two-Star" model of a 1950s double rider's jacket, featuring star studs on the shoulders.
The leather used is a newly developed horsehide, approximately 1.6mm thick, combination-tanned (chrome x tannin), dyed light brown on the base, and then spray-dyed with a top-dyeing method at an established finishing factory in Tokyo.
We pursued the ultimate vintage feel, finishing the leather with full aniline.
While adding a little pigment would make the color deeper, this dyeing method allows for an enjoyable change in color over time, and a distinct feature is that it feels hardly stiff at all due to the absence of a coating.
For basic deep black dye finishes, a semi-aniline finish is typically used, which involves applying aniline dye over a sprayed pigment. This method conceals leather imperfections, ensures uniform and beautiful color, and maintains the leather's texture.
However, like our Last Resort denim, this product was planned with the goal of achieving the ultimate natural comfort and aging, leading us to select a full aniline finish.
We believe this was the best choice.

The lining reproduces and uses red satin quilting, which was common at the time.
The use of red quilting gives it a strong vintage feel.
The zippers used are TALON and WALDES.
The front hem has a belt that fastens with a buckle.
Corduroy is used on the inside of the hem, providing a highly durable specification that prevents the leather from rubbing.
Pleats are also included in the shoulder area of the back, allowing for functional wear.
This is a sturdy and durable rider's jacket with a longer length and slimmer arm circumference than regular double rider's jackets, allowing for a stylish fit.
