The 2020AW collection is themed "BLACK OF ORIGIN," looking back at 15 years and presenting American casual wear, the brand's origin, with a black base.
Our aim was to recreate the atmosphere of vintage clothing, with a focus on reviving and restoring forgotten, invaluable American garments.

We have recreated the fabric of a striped blanket jacket made by BLACKBEAR in the 1930s and tailored a zipper vest from the same period.
The fabric is a blanket material made of 77% wool, 14% cotton, and 9% nylon.
We have faithfully reproduced the vintage blanket fabric of that era.
To recreate the 14-color striped pattern, we faced the limitation that modern looms can only incorporate up to 9 weft colors. Therefore, to achieve the same hand-woven feel as vintage pieces, we increased fabric loss by using 14 warp colors to weave the fabric, reproducing the exact color and texture of the vintage material.
Since the warp of the vintage fabric was woven with light blue instead of white, we reproduced that detail as well!
This really created a wonderful atmosphere.
Previously, we produced this in navy, as per the vintage original, but this time we made the base black, keeping the other accent colors unchanged. The result is a meticulously crafted blanket fabric that has undergone time-consuming napping and finishing processes.

The herringbone tape is also unified in black to match the base color of the fabric.
The edges of the pockets and the vest are all finished with herringbone tape.
The front zipper is a Deco TALON zipper.
The pocket zipper is a "WALDES" ball chain zipper.
The fit is moderately slim and sleek, so it can be worn as an inner layer under a jacket, or as an outer layer over thermals or shirts.

The name "Pueblo" was given by the Spanish and derives from the Latin word "populus," meaning "people." In Spanish, it means "town" or "settlement," and the naming originates from Native American culture.
