PIRATE OF BLUE DYE - We have started a story collection with the theme of indigo dye pirates.
This is a collection of products that will be developed in conjunction with JELADO's original story.
Continuing from the previous episode, the setting is New York. Dien and his friends encounter the mystical pirate ship Flying Dutchman and are pulled aboard.
After seeing the various clothes left behind on the ship, Dien designed the collection using indigo fabric.
The Plowman's shirt is one such piece.
This piece is based on the design of work clothes from the 1900s to 1910s, and was created with the image of those worn by farmers during the golden age of American agriculture.
This pullover features a collarless design with irregular pockets.
The material is a skein-dyed fabric made using 50% genuine indigo from Bushu and 50% indigo dye.
The skein dyeing process results in natural unevenness in the dye, and the slow weaving gives the fabric a fluffy, soft texture.
Small cat's eye buttons are used for the buttons, giving it a vintage feel.
The sleeves are also distinctively three-quarter length with no cuffs, giving them a simple look that further enhances the farmer's image.
This is a piece that we recommend pairing with a pullover shirt and wide work pants for a loose work style.
