This time, we've changed the fabric to Sta-Prest twill, giving it a more casual feel than usual.
"STA-PREST" was born in 1964 at a factory in Knoxville, Tennessee, and became known in Japan by its nickname "Sta-Pre." It gained popularity for its modern silhouette and crisp design with a center press.
Even now, these pants are secretly popular among vintage fans, and the fabric that reproduces the twill used in Sta-Prest is called Sta-Prest twill.
It's a versatile material that is easy to wear, durable, and wrinkle-resistant, making it a long-loved material for sturdy and easy-to-use trousers.
Since we previously released the CATALINA in the same material, we also tailored this jacket in the same color Sta-Prest twill to allow for a coordinated set.

The MURRAYHILL JACKET is based on contemporary suits from the 1950s to 1960s.
Contemporary suits were popular in the 1960s, characterized by narrow lapels and a single button, and many were made from glossy fabrics.
