This collection includes a sweat cardigan developed in collaboration with Riding High. Named "Mountain Man," this piece was created by thoroughly analyzing vintage outdoor fabrics from the 1930s to 1940s and undergoing repeated prototyping. It features a charcoal heather yarn for the outer thread, interwoven with an undyed thread in the middle, creating a rich, profound texture. Two different thicknesses of back yarn are used to create a striped, textured surface. Utilizing one of only two jacquard knitting machines in the world, this piece achieves a truly unique texture. The 16.1oz heavy-weight fabric is brushed and overdyed to replicate the distinct vintage aesthetic. The design is based on the highly sought-after salt-and-pepper collared cardigan, with a twisted heather jacquard stripe body and charcoal-colored panels. The sewing is done with twin needles, ensuring a beautiful finish despite the thick fabric, and the cuffs are finished with circular knitting.
