This is JELADO's original Mexican ring.
The base of this ring is silver, and the top and sides are brass.
While many vintage pieces use copper, copper is weak and can chip or crack with use. Therefore, JELADO opted for brass, which is stronger and develops a more appealing character with age.
As shown in the image, the feathers of the Indian are colored.
Acrylic resin is used for these feather parts.
Using acrylic resin provides a beautiful color development and also reflects the specifications used at the time, resulting in a more vintage-like appearance.
Please note that the color of this acrylic resin may peel off with use, which is also a vintage-like characteristic.
As shown in the image, an owl is depicted on the sides.
Among Native Americans, owls are revered as prophets who foresee danger, and in Mexico and other cultures, their nocturnal vision makes them a symbol of good luck that protects homes and families.
The words "JELADO" and "Starry Gate" are also engraved on the back of the ring.
This impactful Mexican ring, featuring a slightly smiling Indian face and an owl, a symbol of good luck, is recommended for those looking for a distinctive ring and those who appreciate Native American-inspired items.
