JELADO Mexican Ring Devil [SG94616]

This is a JELADO original Mexican ring.
The base of this ring is silver, and the top and sides are brass.
While many vintage rings use copper, copper is weak and tends to wear down or crack with use. Therefore, JELADO opted to use brass, which offers higher strength and develops a more appealing patina with wear.
The devil motif is a very rare design, but we intentionally created it to represent American lowbrow culture.
The face features color painted with acrylic resin.
We hope you enjoy the fading patina that develops with extended use.
As shown in the image, an owl is depicted on the side.
Among Native Americans, the owl is revered as a prophet who foretells danger. In Mexico and other cultures, due to its excellent night vision, it is considered a symbol of good fortune that protects homes and families.
The words "JELADO" and "Starry Gate" are also engraved on the back of the ring.
