JELADO Mechanic Shirt [JP02106A]

The MECHANIC SHIRTS, which we started offering last year, are different from regular work shirts. Their design is based on the 1950s "OX-HIDE" brand chambray shirts with facings.
Unlike regular work shirts, they lack a placket and have a somewhat open-collar shirt feel.
The material is JELADO's ultimate twisted chambray fabric, which has been available since last year. This fabric was created by meticulously reproducing the characteristics of VINTAGE Big Yank shirts from the 1930s to 1940s, which JELADO collects. They were deconstructed to reproduce the yarn count, thread density, irregular yarn shape, and twist condition. Since it is dyed with sulfur dyes, you can enjoy the unique aging found in vintage items.
The other color option is made from a fabric with a strong whitish heather, created by weaving black-and-white heathered yarn for the warp and white yarn for the weft.
Because a power loom is used, you can experience the texture of the 1930s and 1940s.
By using cotton thread for stitching, when washed and put in a dryer, the threads will shrink, creating puckering that causes a faded effect on the shoulders and arms.
