JELADO Mechanic Shirt [JP02106A]　

The MECHANIC SHIRTS, which have been on sale since last year, are different from ordinary work shirts; their design is based on the chambray shirts with facings from the 1950s "OX-HIDE" brand.
Unlike a regular work shirt, this shirt has no placket and has the feel of an open-collar shirt.
The material is the ultimate twisted heathered chambray fabric offered by JELADO, which has been available since last year. This fabric was made by dismantling a vintage Big Yank from the 30s to 40s that JELADO has collected, and thoroughly recreating the characteristics of the fabric, such as the thread count, number of threads, shape of uneven threads, and state of twist. Since it is dyed with sulfur dyes, you can enjoy the aging process that is unique to vintage items.
The other color is made from a whitish heathered fabric, with black and white heathered warp threads and white weft threads.
Because power looms are used, you can feel the texture of the 30s and 40s.
By using cotton thread for sewing, the threads will get clogged when the garment is washed or dried in the dryer, creating puckering around the shoulders and arms.
