JELADO Mechanic Shirt Custom [JP02106B]

The MECHANIC SHIRTS, which we started offering last year, are different from regular work shirts. They are based on the design of the 1950s "OX-HIDE" brand. Specifically, they draw inspiration from and faithfully reproduce the design of chambray shirts with facings.
For the CUSTOM version, we used a SINGER 114K103, a 1950s hand-operated sewing machine assembled in England, to recreate the designs of our own car club embroideries. The embroidery uses 100% cotton thread, just like the vintage pieces, so the threads will tighten with each wash, allowing you to enjoy the aging process.
The fabric used is JELADO's ultimate slub chambray fabric, which has also been available since last year. This fabric was created by meticulously disassembling JELADO's collection of 1930s-40s VINTAGE Big Yank shirts to reproduce the yarn count, thread density, irregular yarn shape, and twist condition. Since it's dyed with sulfur dyes, you can also enjoy the unique aging process typical of VINTAGE items.
Another color option is crafted from a fabric with a strong whitish slub, using a black and white slub yarn for the warp and white yarn for the weft. By using a power loom, it achieves the texture reminiscent of the 1930s-40s. Cotton thread is used for sewing, and with washing and drying, the threads will become even denser, and you can enjoy the puckering that creates natural fades on the shoulders and arms.
