We have reproduced the vintage style of Tart Optical Enterprises, Inc., which was founded in the early 1950s.
It is an eyewear manufacturer based in New York, USA.
The frames were named after the fact that they were manufactured in the company's own building in the heart of Manhattan, New York.

The brand went out of business in the 1970s, but it is still a highly popular eyewear brand today, well-known for James Dean's愛用 of multiple pairs of Tart Optical ARNELs, and for Johnny Depp's consistent use of the same ARNELs both in films and in his private life, to the point where they have become his icon.

The manufacturing origin is Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, famous as a production area for glasses.
This item is "Made in Sabae Japan," allowing you to experience the quality of "Japan made."

For the frames, a significant amount of material is used, resulting in approximately 60% of the sheet material being wasted.
Additionally, all "decorative rivets" on the front and temples are embedded by hand, and any slight distortions express a vintage feel unique to handmade products.
This time, we have prepared lenses in two colors: clear and brown.
As they create completely different impressions, please choose according to your preference.
The basic design, which suits anyone, can be used as prescription glasses by replacing the lenses, for both on-duty and off-duty occasions.
