JELADO L/S Smoker Shirt [JP82109]

The SMOKER SHIRTS, JELADO's longest-selling shirt, are now available in selvage indigo stripe.

As you wear them, they will beautifully fade, developing a rich character.

These shirts are based on the "BIG YANK" utility pocket shirts from the 1930s.
The small pocket on the left chest features the unique bag stitching of vintage garments, making it a detail that will appeal to vintage enthusiasts.

The construction is durable, with triple stitching used on the shoulders and arms.
The pockets and collar also feature double stitching, as was common at the time, creating an authentic vintage look.

The buttons are hexagonal metal buttons, similar to those used on old work shirts.
The gusset features a selvage run-off.
Original "BIG YANK" shirts from that era had both selvage gussets and bag-stitched gussets, so we opted for the selvage gusset to preserve the original atmosphere. White cotton thread is used for the topstitch and orange cotton thread for the bobbin thread.
When cotton thread is used, washing and tumble drying cause the threads to shrink, creating more pronounced puckering and texture on the shoulders and arms.

The fit is neat, with a moderately slim arm circumference, allowing for a clean silhouette.
