HUBBELL is back with a new color scheme after several years.
This item is a perfect reproduction of the 1940s two-tone CHIMAYO COAT, featuring an Italian collar and a half-length design, making it easy to wear.
It pairs exceptionally well with denim, making it an easy addition to any styling.
Production is consistently carried out in the Bishu region, where the fabric is woven with a warp of 30/2 (two 30-count cotton yarns twisted together) cotton yarn and a weft of 2/7 (two 7-count wool yarns twisted together) yarn, made from wool 90% and nylon 10%, that has been roughly spun. The fabric composition is 79% wool, 12% cotton, and 9% nylon.
Due to the large number of pattern pieces, each pattern is woven on a separate roll of fabric and then combined to create the final product.
There is a commitment to finishing the fabric to evoke a vintage feel, with a tweed-like finishing process that avoids kneading and shrinking.
It is washed more than usual to achieve a vintage finish with an oil-removed look, as if it has aged over many years.
Therefore, you can enjoy a vintage feel from the moment it becomes a finished product, as if it has already been well-worn.
The dimensions have been revised from the previous release, making it overall larger so that it can be worn over denim jackets and leather jackets.
