The body is made of 100% cotton, using 20 count yarn in a plating knit construction.
Plating knit is a technique often used in knitwear, where an extra yarn is passed through the back of the fabric to give it thickness, while maintaining the texture of the front fabric.
By using the same 20 count yarn for the back thread, we were able to give the fabric even more thickness.
The body is not tubular but has side seams, yet due to the fabric's thickness, it resists losing its shape.

The binder neck rib is designed to be moderately resistant to stretching.
