JELADO Ellis Off-white [AG51108]

Introducing the Ellis from the JELADO BASIC COLLECTION.
The BASIC COLLECTION is rooted in JELADO's concept of "topping" on good old things. While adhering to vintage styles, it's a collection that not only incorporates new embellishments, designs, and sizing arrangements, but also updates previously released JELADO items by carefully selecting fabrics and sub-materials suitable for the current season and making repeated minor adjustments.

This "Ellis" shirt is inspired by the shirts worn by European immigrants when they arrived in America in the 19th century.
It is based on antique stand-collar workwear.
The fabric is 100% cotton dobby weave, using 40/- yarn for the warp, 20/2X for the dobby sections, and 30/- yarn for the weft.
This fabric is woven on a two-beam dobby loom in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The fabric has a soft texture, feels pleasant against the skin, and is comfortable to wear.
The placket has a wide, rounded design, similar to work shirts.
Another key detail is the fine stitching, using No. 50 thread, to match the antique aesthetic.
Although it's a work shirt, it's a "dress work" item that can also be used for neat styles, making it a versatile piece that can be worn in many ways.
