Introducing the Ellis shirt from the JELADO BASIC COLLECTION.
The BASIC COLLECTION is built upon JELADO's core concept of "topping" on good old things, taking vintage items and not only adding new embellishments, designs, and updated sizing, but also re-releasing previously offered JELADO items with carefully selected fabrics and secondary materials suitable for the current season, updated through repeated subtle modifications.

The "Ellis" shirt is inspired by the shirts worn by European immigrants when they arrived in America in the 19th century.
It is based on antique stand-collar workwear.
Made from 100% cotton dobby weave fabric, using 40/- warp yarn, 20/2X dobby yarn, and 30/- weft yarn.
The fabric is woven using a two-beam dobby loom located in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The result is a soft fabric that feels good against the skin and is comfortable to wear.
Like work shirts, the placket has a wide, rounded design.
The stitching is also meticulously done with 50-count thread, aligning with old-fashioned details.
While a work shirt, this "dress work" item can also be styled elegantly, making it a versatile piece suitable for a wide range of looks.
