The BASIC COLLECTION is rooted in JELADO's concept of "topping good old things." It's a collection that not only incorporates new embellishments, designs, and sizing adjustments while adhering to vintage styles, but also updates previously released JELADO items by selecting fabrics and subsidiary materials appropriate for the current season and making repeated minor adjustments.

The "Ellis" is a shirt inspired by what European immigrants wore when they arrived in America in the 19th century.
It's based on antique, stand-collar workwear.
It uses a 100% cotton dobby weave fabric, with 40/- warp yarn, 20/2X dobby portion, and 30/- weft yarn.
The fabric is woven using a two-beam dobby loom located in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The fabric has a soft texture, is pleasant to the touch, and is comfortable to wear.
The placket, like work shirts, has a wide, rounded design.
A key point is the fine stitching with No. 50 thread, designed to match the old details.
Although it's a work shirt, it's a "dress work" item that can be used for neat styles, making it a versatile piece.
