The theme for 2024 is "SPROUT." Based on the name of the vintage shop that CEO Goto established 20 years ago, the brand will recreate and sell vintage items and popular products purchased at the time.As part of this collection, items based on the button-down jackets from the 40s and 50s were developed. These jackets have a slightly looser silhouette and are called EAGLE EYE, a nickname taken from an old major league player.HUNDLER created an Indian head based on a VINTAGE patch. This Indian head has a part of the hair accessory sewn on with a chain, and the contours of the face and eyes are drawn by sewing together felt pieces with handle embroidery.The body is a reproduction of a vintage Melton produced in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, and is double-woven with top yarn to create a very heavy Melton. It weighs 900g and is quite thick.The sleeves are made of cowhide, and are made of 1.8 mm thick cowhide that has been tanned with regular chrome. This makes the material meaty yet soft, allowing for ease of movement.The buttons are inspired by vintage-style balls, adding to the atmosphere. This varsity jacket is voluminous yet designed to be comfortable to wear, so it is not only stylish but also goes well with standard bottoms such as denim and chinos.
