The theme for 2024 is "SPROUT." Named after the vintage shop that Representative Goto established 20 years ago, we will reproduce and develop vintage items and popular products that were sourced at that time.As part of this collection, items based on 40s to 50s button-up stadium jackets have been developed. These stadium jackets feature a slightly more relaxed silhouette and have been named "EAGLE EYE." This name is taken from the nickname of a famous major league player from an older era.After patterning, we commission a skilled freehand embroiderer, who has been working on military patches for over 40 years, to apply the embroidery. Then, using a chain stitch, we outline the seams of a ball and sew felt pieces together with a chain stitch. This results in a very elaborate patch.The body is made from a reproduced vintage melton, analyzed and produced in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture. The top yarn is double-woven to a high density, resulting in a very substantial melton. With a weight of 900g, it has a considerably thick finish.The sleeves use cowhide, specifically 1.8mm thick cowhide tanned with standard chrome. This ensures a material that is substantial yet soft and easy to move in.The buttons are designed to evoke vintage-style balls, adding to the overall ambiance. This stadium jacket is designed to be voluminous yet comfortable to wear, making it not only stylish but also a perfect match for classic bottoms such as denim and chinos. S
