The BASIC COLLECTION is a collection that follows the concept of topping off the good old things that are the foundation of JELADO, and while following the vintage style, not only does it add new decorations, designs, sizes, etc., but it also updates items previously released by JELADO by selecting fabrics and accessories that suit the season, making repeated minor adjustments.

This piece is based on the construction of a duffle coat from the 1940s.
This time, we have produced a high-end vest using Ezo deer deerskin, which is a rare type of deerskin.
We use leather that is approximately 1.8mm thick, which is thicker than regular deerskin.
The leather of Hokkaido's Ezo deer is fully vegetable tanned and dyed without pigments, and is treated with Italian hard wax to create a natural look.This will result in unevenness, scorching due to friction, and a glossy finish.
The leather also has some scratches that are unique to wild deer roaming through the forest, giving it a vintage feel.
The front is not only fastened with a toggle, but also has a zipper inside to prevent wind from entering, making it a practical and highly windproof design.
Another key point is that the toggles are vintage style toggles imported from the United States.
The lining is made of 100% cupra, a practical fabric that prevents static electricity and other issues.
The large patch pocket on the front also makes a big impact.
The large hood is also a highlight, and when paired with a shirt or a cut-and-sew top, it can be an accent piece for any outfit, making it a new style of military vest that is also functional.
