JELADO Dry Goods Re/Forged Field L-2B [JDG31473]

Using rugged heavy nylon twill from U.S. Air Force flight pants of the 1940s and 50s, we deconstructed the tough material and reconstructed it with patchwork, creating a piece that inherits the soul of the original.

The pocket flaps are repurposed directly from the pants. The base is an L-2B without epaulets.

While retaining the vintage feel, the design has been re-engineered with an exquisite size balance that looks great on today's streets.

"Re/Forged" is a series born from the idea of re-forging (Reforge) former functional clothing for modern times. Based on U.S. military L-2B jackets from the 1950s, we deconstructed and reconstructed actual flight pants. We have brought new life to the ruggedness and functional beauty passed down through the ages.

This Saige Green uses a patchwork material of OD and SEIGE GREEN heavy nylon twill. We used fabrics from flight pants from the 1940s to 50s, all of which vary in color due to age, manufacturer, and deterioration.
