This is the DEVIL DOGS pinky ring from JELADO "COMBAT TOGS".
It is made of either silver or brass.
These military rings are created by collecting all vintage rings that existed, reproducing worn-out and damaged designs, and bringing out the unique vintage atmosphere.
It is based on a vintage pinky-sized brass military motif ring.
The front is engraved with a bulldog's face, the words "DEVIL DOGS," and the letter "K."
Large wings are featured on both sides.
The bulldog, a dog bred for dog fighting, was chosen as a mascot to symbolize the Marine Corps because of its tenacious grip on its goals. The original origin of "DEVIL DOGS" is said to be from May 1918, when the Marines arrived in Belleau Wood, and the French army had already begun to retreat. At this time, Captain Lloyde Williams, commanding officer of the 51st Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, shouted, "Retreat, hell. We just got here." As if symbolizing these words, the Marines took up positions and began a counterattack against the German forces on June 6th. The Marines attacked repeatedly, were repelled, and yet continued to attack. The German forces, terrified by these persistently tenacious Marines, are said to have called them "Teufelhunden" (Devildogs).
This DEVIL DOGS pinky ring is a ring with an impressive motif and design, which is rare for a pinky ring.
Utilizing the worn-out details unique to vintage items, it is a military ring with an overwhelmingly unique presence and atmosphere.
This ring is also recommended for those who have been looking for their size in vintage rings or those looking for an impactful pinky ring.
