JELADO x COLIMBO Observer Jacket Custom Indigo [CT83418B]

We have prepared a custom model of the OBSERVER JKT INDIGO LTD, which was developed as a collaboration item with COLIMBO. It was created with white stenciling to stand out against the indigo color. The custom theme is "Robbers Roost." It embodies a design from the 43rd U.S. Naval Construction Battalion's Alaska campaign, excerpted from actual photos of graffiti found on local barracks by the "Construction Battalion" (abbreviated as CBs, pronounced "Seabees") dispatched to the islands of the Alaska region. The title "Robbers Roost," meaning "thieves' den," is likely borrowed from a Western movie of the same name. The pool of blood overflowing from the skull's mouth is thought to represent Akun Island in the central Aleutian Islands. "CAVE 13" on the right chest refers to the 13th cave, which, by extension, is the nickname for their temporary barracks. From the early stages of the war, both the Japanese and U.S. forces understood the geopolitical importance of these northern islands. In particular, the U.S. military, planning a counterattack in the early phase of the war, dispatched a large construction battalion to Alaska, partly with the aim of building airfields in the area that could be used by heavy bombers for the bombing of Tokyo.
