The fabric is a mohair blend: 65% mohair, 5% wool, and 30% nylon.
It is knitted using raw fibers that are even finer than those of regular kid mohair.
This reduces the prickly feeling typical of mohair, making it more comfortable to wear.
The fabric is made from 7-gauge double jacquard and then undergoes a brushing process.
The brushing is done using rollers with many fine needle-like protrusions, similar to surface brushing for fabric, resulting in a very fine nap.
