Continuing from last fall/winter, the 2023SS collection will continue with the theme of GILT EDGE VINTAGE.
Based on the vintage utility jacket, USNAVY USN N-40 HBT UTILITY JACKET, issued by the Navy in the 3s, we have made the silhouette more comfortable to wear.
US.NAVY herringbone twill jacket.
It is very similar to Marine Corp's P-41, but the N-3 is considered rarer.
This item has been reproduced while taking advantage of the slightly elongated silhouette of the N-3.
The fabric is available in two different types.
One of them is a darker color than the vintage pieces from that time, but uses a firm and meaty herringbone twill with a 14/- warp thread and 8/- weft thread.
The material has a herringbone weave with SZ twist, designed based on VINTAGE, giving it a good twill weave and recreating the atmosphere of the time.
The other is made from a light-weight denim that is often seen in workwear from around the 1950s, with a 10-ounce warp count of 17 and a weft count of 10.
By using a grey sulfur-dyed weft thread, you can enjoy the depth of colour and the atmosphere of the aging process of the time.
The slightly thicker silhouette makes this a very versatile pair of pants to coordinate with items other than jeans.
The buttons are also made of laurel wood to add to the atmosphere.
You can enjoy layering it with chambray, flannel shirts, and sweatshirts, or you can easily throw it on over a T-shirt, making it a recommended spring jacket.
