From COMBAT TOGS, the CN-2 WATER PROOF BIB OVERALL is based on US NAVY overpants from the 1940s, but made with different materials. The fabric is a back-woven material with cotton in the warp and a cotton-hemp blend in the weft. Hemp is resistant to pests, requires no pesticides or chemical fertilizers during cultivation, absorbs more than twice as much carbon dioxide as cotton, and also boasts excellent water absorption, quick-drying properties, and strength. By incorporating a hemp blend into the weft, we've created a fabric with a mottled and rustic feel. The fabric is dyed while being揉み込み (kneaded/massaged) and dried without applying excessive mechanical pressure or tension, resulting in a fabric characterized by a natural, sun-dried texture and a faded, vintage-like color. Originally, overpants only have front patch pockets, but to improve functionality, we've added slash pockets to the side seams, making them easier to wear. With front buttons and patch pockets, this rugged design is recommended even when paired with a plain cut-and-sew, as it adds interest to your coordination.
