The 2026 collection theme is "SHIBU-KAJI." This collection adds a modern twist to Shibukaji, a style that was popular mainly in Shibuya, Tokyo, from the late 1980s to the 1990s. We offer products that evoke a sense of nostalgia from one's youth while also being versatile and durable for long-term use. Due to its popularity last year, we have released it with a change in color options. Baker pants are said to have gotten their name from the bakers who originally wore them. Also known as fatigue pants, they were worn not only when going to battle but also during indoor work. The M-47 pants, adopted as the successor to the M-43 pants, did away with the large cargo pockets on the sides and used urea buttons. These baker pants use a herringbone twill fabric and are available in two colors, characterized by their firm, substantial feel. Vintage herringbone from that era was a strong fabric with clear ridges created by varying the twist of the yarn. Based on our own vintage holdings, we use vat dyeing, which allows the color to fade with wear, providing a vintage-like aged appearance. The slightly wider silhouette makes them very easy to coordinate with outfits other than jeans. These atmospheric baker pants offer enjoyable aging, so please give them a try.
