JELADO Charlton [AG42116]

This time, I used dobby fabric, which I reproduced by analyzing the number and thickness of threads from vintage shirts from the 1920s and 30s that I own, and developing it in collaboration with a fabric store.
This is a 100% cotton dobby fabric with 40/- warp threads, 20/2X dobby threads and 30/- weft threads.
The fabric is woven on a two-beam dobby loom in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The fabric is soft, feels good against the skin, and is comfortable to wear.
The collar is button-down.
The placket is wide and rounded, just like a work shirt.
The length is long enough that you can also wear it tucked in.
The hem has gussets on the sides, just like the vintage version.
This is a classic style shirt that can be worn with a wide range of outfits, from casual to three-piece innerwear.

The name CHARLTON is derived from the name of a street in Manhattan, New York.
