This time we have recreated a very rare vintage piece.
We knit the round body (no side seams) using an old-fashioned Azuma knitting machine.
Using this knitting machine, we are able to create a fluffy material that is highly elastic, soft, and has a bouncy feel like nothing else before.
The fleece is made on an old-fashioned Azuma knitting machine, and is characterized by its vintage feel and lightness.
This knitting machine is one of the machines from around the 70s when loopwheel knitting machines were being replaced by more advanced knitting machines, and is a rare machine with only a few remaining.

Because it is knitted slowly, the number of pieces produced per day is small, and as a result, you can enjoy the same texture as that of a hanging knitting machine, with its uneven surface and fluffy feel.
Regarding raising, if the fabric is open-rolled, it can be raised in one work process, but in the case of round raising, the circle is fitted onto a flat surface and raised on all four sides, so the work goes all the way around, which simply takes four times as much work.
The fabric is finished with a brushed finish before dyeing.
The sewing is mostly done using two needles like vintage styles, but the cuffs have circular knit ribbing, and the cuff ribbing is added in one go from the two needle sewing used under the armpits.
We have recreated a vintage piece that is now difficult to come by, with the stitching exactly as it was back then.

The colors are Vanilla and Smoke Black.
