JELADO Champs 2 Tone [AB73250]

This is JELADO's first freedom sleeve sweatshirt, and like the vintage sample, it is also available in a two-tone specification.
The color scheme balance adopts a popular vintage-style color blocking.
This time, it features a vanilla base with smoke black color blocking.
It is knitted on a circular loom (no side seams) using an old-fashioned Azuma knitting machine.
Using this knitting machine results in a soft, plump material with excellent elasticity and a unique chewy texture.
The Azuma knitting machine, an old-fashioned knitting machine, produces loopwheeled fabric characterized by its vintage texture and lightness.
This knitting machine is one of those from the 1970s, when circular knitting machines were replaced by innovative knitting machines, and there are very few of these rare machines still in existence.
Because it knits slowly, daily production is low, allowing you to enjoy a texture similar to that of a loopwheeled machine, characterized by an uneven surface and a plump feel.
Regarding brushing, while open-width fabric can be brushed in one process, circular brushing requires flattening the circular fabric and brushing all four sides, meaning it takes four times as much effort.
It is finished with pre-brushing, where the fabric is brushed before dyeing.
Following vintage sewing techniques, most seams are double-stitched, but the cuffs have circular knit ribbing, and the cuff ribs are attached in one go directly from the double-stitched underarm seam.
We have reproduced a piece that is now difficult to obtain in vintage form, faithfully replicating the sewing of the era.
