CHAMPS is proud to announce the release of its highly anticipated new two-tone models.
This time, we are introducing two new colorways: "Black x Pink" and "Salt & Pepper x Black." Based on the color schemes of 1940s vintage sweatshirts, these designs evoke a nostalgic, vintage feel. Both models are based on the freedom sleeve sweatshirts of the 1940s, updated with a modern fit. While retaining the vintage aesthetic, they offer both comfort and a beautiful silhouette.
The body is made with tubular knitting on an old-fashioned Azuma knitting machine. This knitting machine, developed during the transitional period from loopwheel knitting machines to innovative knitting machines in the 1970s, produces a soft and richly textured terry fabric. Furthermore, in addition to regular circular napping, the lining is brushed on four sides, creating a more profound texture. Pre-brushing before dyeing further enhances the depth of the fabric's feel.
The sewing faithfully reproduces the details of the era. Almost all seams are finished with twin-needle stitching, and the cuffs feature circular knit ribbing. The ribbing is seamlessly attached from the armpit seam, showcasing our commitment to vintage details. These unique two-tone sweatshirts blend vintage charm with a modern fit.
