We've re-released the SEA ROVER COAT, a piece from the PIRATEOF BLUE DYE collection, as the C43 FIELD JACKET. We've completely revised the pattern and updated the material. Based on the U.S. ARMY M43 HBT JACKET made in 1943, we've maintained the vintage aesthetic by giving ample room in the armholes and sleeves, creating a tough impression when worn. It's made from 100% cotton ripstop fabric, perfect for wearing like a shirt in spring. Although the fabric is thin, its ripstop construction ensures very high durability. We've incorporated some specifications from 1943 military wear while excluding others. For instance, we've used 13-star buttons for the front and pockets. We've excluded elements like gas flaps and buttons for gas protective hoods to make it easier to wear. Military wear is gaining increasing recognition in the vintage world and attracting attention in the fashion world. We encourage you to wear it with classic denim, chinos, and other staples.
