JELADO Buddy Work Cap [JP11731]

Marking our first production of a classic work cap in roughly 15 years, this new design is based on a legendary 1940s "House Mark" utility cap, beautifully recreated using our LAST RESORT Blue Tag denim. For this special textile, both the warp and weft yarns were completely rope-dyed in deep indigo, and we engineered a custom, proprietary printing screen to execute the left-hand twill Wabash stripe pattern. The sewing construction is executed with sharp gray thread, ensuring the overall aesthetic remains perfectly grounded rather than overly bright, resulting in a deeply classic cap profile. Furthermore, the brand label is stitched on using the exact same methods found on original vintage pieces, intentionally capturing that beautifully flawed, authentic mid-century manufacturing character.

To ensure you can enjoy highly unique, irregular vertical fading lines over time, the fabric is woven using three distinct warp thread weights. As you regularly wear and wash the cap, the natural slub texture of the yarns will steadily reveal themselves, delivering a highly rewarding color transformation.
