This is VICHY from BLUE LABEL.
This season, we are featuring workwear and military items based on European designs.
We have recreated the French Army M47 cargo pants, considered a masterpiece among military and cargo pants, by changing the fabric.
It follows the details of the early model of the pants, which were adopted in 1947 and used until the 1960s.
The two hidden buttons on the front top, a detail of the early model, have been exposed for easier use.
We adopted a back satin fabric, replicated from vintage US cargo pants, and added arrangements that go beyond simple reproduction, characteristic of BLUELABEL.
Since it's a back satin made with slub yarn, you can enjoy the unique sheen of satin and the texture that emerges as you wear it.
Key details such as the elaborate pocket construction, which would have been simplified in military mass production, have been reproduced. While maintaining a fit close to vintage, the shorter length allows for a stylish look.
