JELADO Winchester Horsehide Full Aniline Topcoat Finish Black [RG94405H]

The "STANDARD COLLECTION" is a collection of staple items that are produced year-round, regardless of the seasonal theme.
The Winchester, which was highly popular among the legendary EASTWEST brand that boomed in the 1970s and became our company's best-selling leather product since its reproduction began 12 years ago, has been revived with updated sizing and sewing specifications.
The leather used is a newly developed horsehide, approximately 1.6mm thick, which is chrome-tanned and vegetable-tanned. After dyeing the base a light brown, the top surface is dyed with dye spray at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo.
We pursued the ultimate vintage aesthetic, finishing the leather with a full aniline finish.
While adding some pigment would make the black even darker and deeper, the characteristic of this dye is that you can enjoy the color changes unique to dyes, and because there is no paint film, it feels almost completely soft.
For a basic deep black dye finish, a semi-aniline finish technique is used, where aniline dye is applied over sprayed pigment. This method hides scratches on the leather, ensures uniform and beautiful color, and preserves the leather's texture.
However, this product was planned with the same concept as our Last Resort denim, resulting in leather that aims for natural comfort and aging.
This Topcoat finish adds an extra step to the full aniline leather.
Over the tea-core black leather dyed with full aniline, blue dye is applied to enhance the black color, and then the black color is adjusted and finished with fine particle pigments.
Fine particle pigments, unlike regular pigments, are made of fine molecules, so they do not form a thick paint film like regular pigments, allowing the base color to show through and produce a vibrant color.

From this time, we are using #20 sewing thread.
The zippers used are "WALDES" zippers.
The lining, as before, is made of cupra fabric.
The most distinctive part, the back of the collar, features a hidden pocket (marijuana pocket), a symbol of 70's culture, reproduced exactly as it was in the original specifications.
Additionally, the inner front panel is equipped with JELADO's original leather name, just like the vintage.
The finish allows you to enjoy the "EAST WEST" feel even more.
It is produced closer to the vintage sizing than the previous Winchester, so you can enjoy a more authentic 70's atmosphere.
