JELADO Winchester Horsehide Full Aniline Topcoat Finish Black [RG94405H]

The "STANDARD COLLECTION" is a collection of standard products that are produced all year round without following a theme.
EASTWEST is a legendary brand that was all the rage in the 1970s. It was one of the most popular brands, and was first reproduced 12 years ago. Winchester has become our best-selling leather product, and we have revived it after reviewing its sizing and sewing specifications.
The leather used is a newly developed horsehide approximately 1.6 mm thick, which has been combination tanned (chrome x tannin) and dyed a light brown color before being sprayed with dye using a hill dyeing method at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo.
In pursuit of the ultimate vintage feel, the leather is finished with a full aniline finish.
By simply mixing in a small amount of pigment, the black can be made darker and deeper, but the color changes that are unique to dyes can be enjoyed, and since there is no coating, it feels almost completely smooth.
For a basic deep black dye finish, a semi-aniline finish is used, where the pigment is sprayed on and then aniline dye is applied. This method hides scratches on the leather, while still producing a uniform, beautiful color and not damaging the texture of the leather.
However, since it is designed with the same concept as Last Resort denim, we have used leather that aims for a natural feel and aging.
This topcoat finish is applied to full aniline leather.
A blue dye is applied on top of the full aniline brown core black to enhance the black color, and the black color is then adjusted with fine particle pigments to finish.
Unlike regular pigments, microparticle pigments are paints formed from tiny molecules, so they do not form a thick coating like regular pigments and can produce colors that make use of the color of the base.

From now on, we are using 20 count thread for sewing.
The zipper used is a "WALDES" zipper.
The lining is made from cupra fabric, just like before.
The most distinctive part of the jacket is the back of the collar, which features a hidden pocket (marijuana pocket) that is a symbol of 70's culture, reproduced exactly as it was in those days.
Additionally, the back of the front body features the original JELADO leather name tag, just like the vintage version.
The result is a finish that allows you to enjoy the original "EAST WEST" feel even more.
This item has been produced to be closer to the vintage size than previous Winchesters, allowing you to enjoy a more realistic 70's atmosphere.
