JELADO Ben Lilly Horse Hide Grizzly JKT Full Aniline Finish Black [AG63420]

This jacket, named "Ben Lilly", is inspired by the famous bear hunter who lived from 1856 to 1936.
Ben Lilly was known for hunting an astonishing number of bears, to the extent that he is said to be responsible for halving the bear population in America.
We've reimagined the leather of the grizzly jacket, also known as the "kuma-jan" (bear jacket), and brought it back with higher quality horsehide.
Approximately 1.6mm thick horsehide is tanned in a combination process (chrome x tannin), dyed light brown for the base, and then spray-dyed with dyes using a "hill dyeing" technique by a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo.
Since it's a full-aniline finish using only dyes, especially for black, the base color will show through.
You can enjoy the characteristic softness of full-aniline leather and its aging process.
The Mouton used this time is from North America, featuring long pile and a luxurious feel.
The color is dyed in an olive paddle, and both the black and chocolate bases feature olive Mouton.
Pursuing the ultimate vintage atmosphere, this "kuma-jan" is an evolution from the previous version.
Nut buttons are used to match the atmosphere of that era.
The base is modeled after a 1930s LAKELAND "kuma-jan", with slight modifications.
We've changed the cuffs to a cuffed specification and eliminated the front belt and buckle, opting for side adjusters instead, giving it a more stylish impression.
By incorporating eyelets at the pocket openings, we've enhanced the vintage feel reminiscent of that time.
The silhouette is not too slim, providing a neat fit, but it is an urban grizzly jacket that combines the ruggedness, boldness, and robust construction characteristic of a "kuma-jan."
