JELADO Bean Vest [BL03527]

Released from BLUE LABEL.
From Carhartt's duck vests and jackets, which have recently been gaining attention again,
this time we created a duck zip vest inspired by them, using a very heavy duck fabric.
 We reproduced the heavy duck fabric used for LL BEAN tote bagsand tailored it using two colors of fabric, camel and smoke black.
When SPROUT was operating 20 years ago, it was a regular used clothing item, but it is expected that these items will gain added value in the future.
We released it as a next vintage item.
The material used is 21.5oz heavy duck.
Four pre-dyed yarns were twisted together to make 12-count yarn, which was then woven into duck fabric.
The image was to make a vest out of deadstock fabric for tote bags from that time, so we intentionally used the selvedge line on the bodyto give it a remade feel.
It is usually very difficult to sew the incredibly thick fabric originally made for tote bags, but we asked them to sew it anyway.
It will age beautifully with each wear.
Since it is a quilted vest with batting, it has high heat retention and can be worn for a long time.
As it is a zippered work vest, it goes well not only with shirts but also with cut-and-sewn tops.
