PIRATE OF BLUE DYE - We have started a story collection with the theme of indigo dye pirates.
This is a collection of products that will be developed in conjunction with JELADO's original story.
Continuing from the previous episode, the setting is New York. Dien and his friends encounter the mystical pirate ship Flying Dutchman and are pulled aboard.
After seeing the various clothes left behind on the ship, Dien designed the collection using indigo fabric.
This design was patented by someone in the late 1800s.
The pocket has a distinctive design and is named a keel pocket (referring to the spine of the bottom of the boat).
BUCCANEER is a word that refers to "pirate," and this design was created by Dien, who was known as the blue dye pirate.
The fabric used is a custom-made indigo Wabash striped fabric made from 100% cotton.
This is a firm No. 7 x No. 7 fabric, and both the warp and weft are woven with rope-dyed yarn.
The inner thread is rope dyed to give it a white look, and it ages exceptionally well with wear and wrinkles.
The Wabash Stripe is printed using pigment discharge printing, so like indigo fabric, it will change over time, such as fading.
The buttons are rust-patterned metal buttons.
The pockets are not riveted, but are reinforced with random stitching on the folded pockets.
The buckle back is also a push-in type, just like the vintage version.
There are pleats on the back, so even if you wear it in the right size, there will be a little room to spare, making it easy to wear.
