JELADO's flagship model "Age of Longing 301XX Vintage Finish" will be released in limited quantities to coincide with the renewal of our online store.
Using actual vintage fading as a model, we carefully and painstakingly shaved and washed the leather by hand to create a natural faded look.
This time, we didn't intentionally make it dirty, and instead of making it look too rough, we left it quite natural, and the faded colour gives the impression that it has been washed many times, which is perfect for spring and summer fashion.

It has been 15 years since we launched the JELADO brand.
Looking back over our 15-year history, we have thoroughly pursued our earliest venture into denim, carefully selecting the cotton that is the source of its production, and once again producing high-quality denim with care. This is what led to the launch of Age of Longing 301XX.

We took a closer look at the materials used in the vintage classic Levi's 501XX, dismantling dead stock denim and sending it to a national testing agency to analyze the threads and weave of the fabric.
The original denim fabric "LAST RESORT" was created by creating thread based on the results of that analysis.

The sewing factory we asked to most closely sew this special fabric was a factory in Japan that formerly sewed for L Company (an American jeans company that is no exaggeration to say is the origin of everything), and we asked them to sew the jeans to the same specifications as the vintage jeans owned by JELADO.

The type of thread, the stitching of each part, and even the irregular design of one belt loop with a different sewing thread.
He readily agreed to even the parts that would have been a hassle, and reproduced them exactly as they were.
The size has been carefully adjusted many times to ensure it is the same dimensions as the vintage one.
The orientation of the fabric, the sewing method, the length of the stitching, and other details of the 501XX from that time have been re-examined and reproduced in detail.
The leather label is different from regular leather labels in that it uses horse leather with an uneven surface texture and is printed in a rubbed red style.
This leather patch highlights the roughness of the leather surface, and the print fades and bleeds, giving each one a unique vintage look.

In addition, the accessories have been completely redesigned to match the denim, which has been infused with the utmost care in every aspect, from the thread, dyeing, fabric, and stitching.
The tack buttons are made from iron, and two types of original copper rivets are also created.
The hidden rivets are also a unique feature and are reproduced in the same size as the 501XX.
We proceeded with everything so that the final product would be similar to the original.


The name "Age Of Longing" was chosen with the idea of ​​using all of our experience and production background to revive the jeans of those days that we longed for.
