For this item, we chose the color scheme of a popular 60s "Spruce" sweatshirt and produced it using reactive dyeing.
The black is also developed with reactive dyeing, resulting in a clearer black than previous versions.
It was created with the image of the last gusseted sweatshirt before the V-neckless style became popular in the 60s.
While featuring a front V, it is tailored with two-needle stitching.
Inspired by cut-offs found in vintage items, it has been arranged into a 3/4 sleeve cut-off sweatshirt.
The fabric is 100% cotton loopwheel knit.
Using unbrushed fleece lining, the sides are seamed to prevent skewing.
Due to low productivity and high cost, loopwheel knitting machines are now rare knitting machines that only a few remain in Wakayama, Japan, in the world. By knitting slowly and carefully without applying excessive tension to the yarn, you can feel the natural texture and soft, plump feel of the yarn itself.
The outer jersey uses 30-count yarn, and the inner loops use thick 10-count yarn, which is called 30/10 (san-maru-to-oban) fleece lining.
While larger numbers indicate thinner fabric, 30/10 fleece lining is a representative sweatshirt material that has a moderate thickness and softness, making it useful all year round.
6th Man refers to a substitute player in basketball who contributes as much as a starting player, and it was named with the meaning of being active at any time and any place.
