JELADO 66Denim Raw [JP94306]

As part of JELADO's "STANDARD COLLECTION," we have created a new standard in denim with our custom-made 66 DENIM.
The fabric is a 13.5 oz denim made from 100% American cotton (Memphis cotton) with strong twisted yarns, using 7-count yarn for both the warp and weft.
The yarn is rope-dyed with indigo and then woven.
The fabric is woven on an old power loom, with 66 warp threads and 48 weft threads per inch.
We referenced 1940s vintage denim for this fabric, so the aging process, such as fading, will produce a strong contrast of vertical fading and whiskering.
Because it's woven with strong twisted yarns, the fabric has a firmer and stiffer feel than usual, which helps the creases from wear to set in more easily.

This time, instead of XX, we have produced JELADO's first 66 model as an imagined reproduction.
While the sewing threads and construction are sampled from the 66 model, we've made the pocket shapes slightly larger, and the overall silhouette is based on a slightly older model.
The clean tapered fit and slightly deeper rise faithfully reproduce the classic silhouette.
Like the 66 model, all sewing threads are orange, but by using thicker, matching-colored threads in key areas like the back yoke, inseam, and side seams, we've created a pair with stronger accents.
By intentionally maintaining the vintage atmosphere of the rise, we believe these are the classic standard jeans that are sought after now that classic pants have come full circle.
This time, we have added original stitching to the back pockets.

Jelado Standard Collection 66 Denim Reproduction
The material uses American cotton, with 7-count warp and 7-count weft, and the weight is lighter than 44 denim and 55 denim.
The cotton thread is indigo-dyed and then woven.
It is made with 66 warp threads and 48 weft threads per inch, using an old-style sewing machine.
Because the vintage denim from the 1940s was referenced in the material selection, changes and creases during the "breaking in" process are reflected.
Due to the use of relatively tough threads, it will feel somewhat stiffer than usual, but it will gradually conform to the wearer's body over time.
This time, it is not based on the XX, but is a reproduction of Jelado's original 66 denim.
The sewing threads are based on the 66 denim original, but the back pockets are slightly larger than before, and the overall silhouette is based on an older model.
The neat tapered fit and slightly longer inseam perfectly reproduce the classic silhouette. The sewing thread, like the 66 original, is mainly orange stitching, which gives a more pronounced highlight compared to same-colored stitching.
Compared to some who pursue the atmosphere of old times and classic jeans, this is a style that is sought after now that it has come full circle.
The original stitching on the back pockets is also a feature this time.
