JELADO 66Denim (66 Denim) Raw [JP94306]

As part of JELADO's "STANDARD COLLECTION," we have custom-made a new standard denim and released 66 DENIM.
The fabric is 100 oz., made using tightly twisted American 13.5% cotton (Memphis cotton) yarn with a No. XNUMX warp thread (vertical thread) and a No. XNUMX weft thread (horizontal thread).
The yarn is rope dyed with indigo and then woven.　
The number of threads per inch is 1 warp threads (vertical threads) and 66 weft threads (horizontal threads), and the fabric is woven on an old power loom.
The vintage fabric used as a reference is denim from the 40s, so the aging process, such as fading, is woven in a way that brings out the contrast between the vertical fading and whiskers.
Weaving with tightly twisted yarn makes the fabric stiffer and more taut than usual, which means it is more likely to develop creases when worn.

This time, instead of an XX, it was made with the image of a reproduction of JELADO's first 66 model.
The sewing thread and materials are sampled from the 66 model, but the shape of the pockets is made a little larger, and the overall silhouette is based on an older model.
The traditional silhouette is faithfully reproduced, with a clean taper and slightly deeper rise.
The sewing thread is all orange, just like the 66 model, but by using thicker thread of the same color in key areas such as the back yoke, crotch, and side seams, we have created a more accentuated piece.
We have intentionally kept the rise of the pants in the traditional style, and we believe that these classic pants are the kind of standard jeans that are in demand now that we have come a full circle in history.
This time, we have added original stitching to the back pocket.
