These black 66 DENIM jeans are made from pre-dyed selvedge denim (14oz) with 7-count warp and 6-count weft yarns.
By rope-dyeing with black sulfide dye, the core of the yarn remains white. As you wear them, whiskers and vertical fading will appear, allowing you to enjoy the changing color.
Although listed as 14oz, the warp yarns have undergone mercerization (a process that transforms cotton yarn to resemble silk).
This process results in a 100% cotton denim fabric that, despite being 14oz, has a suppressed rough texture and comfortable feel.
While the specifications are sampled from the 66 model, elements like the pocket shape have been made slightly larger, and the overall silhouette is designed with reference to slightly older models.
The clean tapered fit and slightly deeper rise faithfully reproduce a classic silhouette.
