Its most definitive characteristic is the utilization of a 14-ounce denim fabric created by completely disassembling a pristine, deadstock pair of early-1950s Levi's 501XX jeans. Driven by an uncompromising commitment to authentic American cotton, we scientifically and thoroughly analyzed every metric - from raw cotton selection and yarn thickness to fiber length and exact twist counts - to achieve a flawless replication of the original 501XX fabric. Furthermore, each structural detail has been faithfully reproduced to mirror original mid-century garments.

Every single element, including the specific indigo dye profile and the precise weave density of the fabric, has been reconstructed using data extracted from vintage denim analysis. This proprietary fabric is proudly named LAST RESORT (the ultimate ace up our sleeve), and every garment utilizing it features our signature exclusive labels, alongside XX branding stamped directly onto the leather patch.

Beyond the textile itself, we have faithfully mirrored the original vintage denim jacket in every conceivable detail - carefully matching the thread colors and weights, sewing techniques, fabric grain alignment, collar attachment method, button placement, and stitch widths. We even utilized a separate light-ounce denim fabric for the underside of the pocket flaps, alongside our proprietary custom-plated iron front buttons, solid copper rivets, and a rayon red tab.
