JELADO 519 Rebel Leather Pants [JP01316]

The theme for 2024 is "SPROUT."
Inspired by SPROUT, a vintage shop that our CEO Goto founded 20 years ago, we reproduce vintage items.
This time, we made a leather item based on the corduroy pants that Goto was avidly purchasing at the time.
The material used is horsehide that is approximately 1.6 mm thick, and has been tanned using a combination of chrome and tannin.
First, the leather is tanned with chrome, then washed with a solvent, and then tanned again with tannin to bring out the best in the leather's characteristics. This gives the leather a sense of weight and a unique texture that develops when worn.
The base is dyed light brown and then sprayed with black dye at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo to create brown core leather.
This time, in order to express a deeper black, the color was adjusted with a semi-aniline finish that mixes half pigment and half dye. The dye that colors the base and the pigment that forms a coating on top are exquisitely matched, and you can enjoy the wonderful changes that occur over time as you wear it.
The silhouette is slim and straight with a shallow rise, and the leather material makes the style stand out even more. Leather pants are not very common, but they go well with knitwear and nylon products, making them a pair of pants that you can enjoy in a different style.
This new SPROUT item brings the charm of vintage to life in the modern era and will be enjoyed by anyone who pursues unique fashion.
