JELADO 519 Rebel Leather Pants [JP01316]

This time, I created leather pants based on the corduroy pants that I was avidly buying at the time. I used approximately 1.6mm thick horsehide for the material, which was tanned using a combination of chrome and tannin. First, the leather was chrome-tanned, then washed with a solvent, and finally re-tanned with tannin to maximize its properties. This process created a substantial feel to the leather and a unique texture when worn. The base leather was dyed light brown, and then black dye was applied over it at an old-established finishing factory in Tokyo, resulting in tea-core leather. To achieve a deeper black this time, I adjusted the color with a semi-aniline finish, mixing pigments and dyes in equal parts. The dye, which penetrates the base, and the pigment, which forms a coating on top, are exquisitely matched, allowing for a wonderful aging process as you wear it. The silhouette is a slim straight cut with a low rise, and the use of leather material further enhances the style. Leather pants are not very common, but they go well with knits and nylon products, making them a versatile item that allows you to enjoy different styles.
