JELADO 519 Rebel Leather Pants [JP01316]

This time, I created a leather pair based on the corduroy pants I enthusiastically purchased at the time. The material is approximately 1.6mm thick horsehide, tanned using a combination of chrome and tannin. First, the leather is chrome-tanned, then washed with solvent, and then tanned again to maximize the leather's characteristics. This creates a rich feel and a unique texture that develops with wear. The base is dyed light brown, and then sprayed with black using the Okazome dyeing method at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo, resulting in a brown core leather. To achieve a deeper black, I used a semi-aniline finish, mixing pigment and dye in equal parts. The dye that colors the base and the pigment that forms the top coat are exquisitely matched, allowing for a beautiful aging experience with wear. The silhouette is slim and straight with a low rise, and the leather material enhances the style. While leather pants are not very common, they pair well with knitwear and nylon, making them a versatile pair that allows for a variety of styles.
