This item pays homage to my origins, a vintage shop called "SPROUT" that I started 20 years ago. In order to open this store, I traveled to the United States while saving money and gradually collected items for the opening. During that time, I came across a pair of Lee Housemark denim in my size, purchased it, and based on the items in my collection, analyzed the fabric and developed the lightweight 10.5 oz "LASTRESORT DENIM."
This special denim is made with a level of craftsmanship not seen in regular light-weight denim, and the accessories are also designed to rival it. The large swivel buttons, the small swivel buttons attached to the sleeves, and the snap buttons on the chest pocket are all original.
This item was produced by Naru. The original vintage coverall bears the Lee house mark and is believed to have been manufactured between 1938 and 1946. While the name tag roughly identifies the year, it features the words "SANFORIZED" and a distinctive Lee "e" pointing diagonally upwards. Like the original, the stitching is done in gray and white, creating a more subdued, vintage feel. The front patch pockets are also recreated, emulating Lee's distinctive straight stitching with extra bottom sewn in. With wear, the uneven texture of the warp threads, woven with three different thicknesses, emerges, creating a vintage-inspired, random vertical fade. This is the ultimate workwear piece, and we highly recommend you enjoy it.
