JELADO 44Denim Jacket Vintage finish Fade Black [JP51441]

For this release, we created the 44 DENIM JACKET, inspired by 1944 denim, focusing on the World War II era.
This is a serious Levi's 1st Type, a wartime model without flaps.
The fabric used is 13.8 oz selvedge, rope-dyed with sulfur-dyed black denim. Woven at low speed, the fabric has a strong uneven texture, combining firm stiffness with suppleness.
The historical background of manufacturing during wartime, such as material substitutions and reductions, is recreated with four laurel wreath buttons and flapless pockets.
The buttons are intentionally treated with a blue rust finish, creating a distinctive denim jacket from the start.
The design reproduces the "T-back" detail on the back, which was only seen on sizes 46 and above at the time.
This design, where larger sizes required two pieces of fabric sewn together in the middle due to width constraints, is now known as the "T-back" and is a beloved detail among vintage enthusiasts.
Furthermore, it features a buckle-back with a prong closure on the back.

The distressing faithfully reproduces vintage clothing, including damage above the rivets caused by tension when items are placed in pockets, and other fine details.
We also incorporated a dirt-processing technique that doesn't use overdye, achieving a natural aging look.
While expressed through bio-wash and blasting, we entrusted this to artisans who can create a realistic atmosphere even with simple processing.

The silhouette is slightly longer in length and a bit slimmer in the arm area compared to a standard 1st Type.
Emphasis was placed on the silhouette when worn, ensuring it doesn't detract from the original vintage feel.
