JELADO 44Denim Jacket Indigo [JP94404]

This is JELADO's first serious Levi's 1st Type war model without a flap.
The fabric is made using 7/- (count) x 6/- (count) threads, finished at 14oz, making it thicker than 66 DENIM.
American cotton (Memphis cotton) is used for the warp, and Zimbabwe cotton for the weft.
By setting the number of threads per inch to 66 for the warp and 44 for the weft, and slightly reducing the warp threads compared to 66 denim, the fabric is finished to be softer and more comfortable to wear.
The historical background of substituting and reducing materials during the war is reproduced with four laurel buttons and flapless pockets.
The buttons are intentionally given a blue rust treatment, creating a distinctive denim jacket from the start.
The design reproduces the "T-back" detail on the back, which was a specification only for sizes 46 and above at the time.
At the time, for larger sizes, due to the fabric width (area), two pieces of fabric were sewn together in the middle. This design is now referred to as a "T-back" and is a detail favored by vintage enthusiasts.
Furthermore, the back features a pin-type buckle back.
The silhouette is slightly longer in length and slightly slimmer around the arms compared to the regular 1st type.
Emphasis has been placed on the silhouette when worn, creating a silhouette that does not detract from the atmosphere of the time.
