This time, we have produced a 1944 denim jacket, focusing on World War II, using horsehide.

The 2020AW collection, themed "BLACK OF ORIGIN," looks back on 15 years and presents American casual wear, the brand's origin, with a black base.
This time, we have produced a 1944 denim jacket, focusing on World War II, using buffalo leather.

The leather used this time is 1.8mm to 2mm thick buffalo leather.
Unlike the buffalo leather used previously, this leather has a wild quality, maintaining the original characteristics of buffalo leather such as its thickness, grain, natural scratches, and luster.
Of course, this leather also offers an enjoyable aging process, with arm creases and changes in grain from wear, and color, luster, and shine changes from oiling.

The buttons are laurel wreath buttons with a verdigris finish.
The design reproduces the "T-back" detail on the back, which was only used for sizes 46 and above at the time.
This was originally a design from when larger sizes required two pieces of fabric sewn together in the middle due to fabric width (area) constraints, but it is now known as a "T-back" and is a detail favored by vintage enthusiasts.
Furthermore, the back features a buckle-back.
The silhouette is slightly longer than the vintage 1st type and a bit more streamlined.
This is a piece where you can appreciate the simple design of the 1st type and the quality of buffalo leather.
